Protection Coverage Policy
Faeb Protection Coverage is designed to provide recovery, restoration, and redevelopment support for websites managed under active Faeb management services. The purpose of this coverage is to help businesses recover from genuine external security incidents, malicious intrusions, malware infections, website compromise, or operational failures that occur despite active protection and management systems being in place.
Protection Coverage applies only to websites that are actively maintained under a Faeb management plan with Faeb Layers security protection enabled and actively configured on the website. Coverage is intended exclusively for websites managed within Faeb’s operational environment and security standards. Websites that are unmanaged, partially managed, externally modified without authorization, or operated outside Faeb’s active protection systems may not qualify for recovery or redevelopment support under this policy.
In the event of a qualifying website compromise, Faeb may provide complete website recovery assistance, malware cleanup, backup restoration, infrastructure stabilization, post-breach hardening, database restoration, security restoration, downtime recovery assistance, and website redevelopment support where necessary. If a website becomes critically compromised beyond practical recovery, Faeb may rebuild or redevelop the affected website architecture as part of the Protection Coverage without additional redevelopment charges to the client. The goal of the coverage is to restore operational continuity, website availability, and business stability as efficiently as reasonably possible.
Protection Coverage is specifically intended for incidents involving external malicious activity, unauthorized intrusion, infrastructure compromise, software vulnerabilities, exploitation attempts, or security failures that occur without direct involvement, negligence, or unsafe actions from the client side. Coverage may also apply in situations where compromise occurs due to failures, vulnerabilities, operational mistakes, or security-related incidents originating from Faeb-managed systems, infrastructure, configurations, deployment processes, or internal operational handling.
Protection Coverage does not apply in situations where the client knowingly or carelessly compromises website security. Coverage will not be provided if the client voluntarily shares login credentials, administrative access, hosting credentials, FTP credentials, database credentials, access tokens, recovery codes, or authentication information with unauthorized individuals, external developers, unknown parties, or unapproved third-party services. Coverage will also not apply if the client shares access to recovery email accounts, authentication systems, connected email inboxes, or one-time passwords received for account verification or security confirmation.
Coverage is excluded in cases where malicious files, infected scripts, nulled software, unauthorized plugins, compromised themes, unsafe third-party code, pirated software, or harmful website assets are intentionally or knowingly uploaded, installed, or executed by the client or by individuals granted access by the client. Any compromise resulting from deliberate unsafe actions, reckless administrative behavior, ignored security instructions, unsafe credential management, unauthorized server modifications, insecure external integrations, or intentional bypassing of recommended security practices may void Protection Coverage eligibility.
Faeb reserves the right to investigate the source and cause of a website compromise before approving recovery or redevelopment support under this policy. Coverage eligibility may depend on available logs, infrastructure evidence, security records, access history, website integrity data, and operational findings during incident review. Faeb may deny coverage where evidence reasonably indicates that the incident resulted from direct client negligence, unsafe access sharing, intentional misuse, unauthorized modifications, or actions performed outside Faeb-managed systems and protection standards.
While Faeb implements multiple layers of security, monitoring, hardening, and operational protection, no website, platform, infrastructure, or online system can ever be guaranteed completely immune from attacks, vulnerabilities, exploitation attempts, or malicious activity. Protection Coverage is intended to provide recovery assistance, restoration support, redevelopment handling, and operational continuity support after qualifying incidents rather than guaranteeing absolute prevention of compromise.
By using Faeb management services and participating in Protection Coverage, the client acknowledges and agrees to the conditions, limitations, exclusions, operational requirements, and recovery scope outlined within this policy.
